K-8 Coed and Boys Required Equipment

Equipment Required: Stick, Gloves, Elbow pads, Chest Protector, Helmet, Mouthpiece, Cleats.

Lacrosse is undeniably a contact sport and it requires specific protective equipment to ensure the player's safety. Having the right equipment that both fits and functions properly is imperative to the safe enjoyment of the sport. Each player that participates is required to have the following equipment.

All K-2 coed teams and 3^rd – 8^th grade require the following equipment:

• Lacrosse Helmet
• Lacrosse Stick
• Mouthpiece (recommended to attach to the helmet face mask)
• Lacrosse Gloves
• Lacrosse Elbow Guards
• Lacrosse Shoulder Pads
• Athletic Supporter with Hard Cup (compression shorts with cup pocket are comfortable)
• Cleats. Lacrosse, soccer or football cleats work well. (No baseball cleats.)

As a way to help lower the cost barrier, the Aviators have some helmets and chest protector / shoulder pads available to rent for a $75 on a first come, first served basis. 1^st year players will have their rental fee waived. All equipment rentals require a $100 refundable deposit. This may include a helmet, shoulder pads, and stick. All players will need to provide their own gloves, elbow pads and mouthpieces.
